CACC is run as a comprehensive fiscal sponsorship of CALICO, the accredited children’s advocacy center for Alameda County. CACC's team is made up of permanent CALICO staff members and an Advisory Committee.

Nadia Bueno, Executive Director 

Nadia Bueno has been Nadia Bueno joined the children's advocacy center movement in August 2018 as a Child Interview Specialist at CALICO Center in Alameda County. As a native Spanish speaker, she was able to conduct interviews in Spanish when needed. She added to her duties in 2021 by becoming CALICO's Victim Services Coordinator Read more

Holly Fleming, Program Director

Holly began working for the Children’s Advocacy Centers of California, a program of CALICO, in 2017. There she provides support and assistance to CACs and multidisciplinary teams throughout the state. Holly began her career in a community clinic as a marriage and family therapist trainee where she provided counseling to adults, children, families and couples. Read More

Kristy Brodeur Dermody, Training Coordinator

As the Training Coordinator, Kristy has conducted trainings on interviewing child abuse victims, resiliency and the child abuse professionals, mandating reporting laws and responsibilities, interviewing victims with intellectual disabilities, and prevention and safety workshops. Read More

Kathy Cady recently retired after 31 years as a prosecutor with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.  She tried over 90 felony jury trials and specialized in family violence, child abuse, and sexual assault cases. Read More
