Jenny Mathews

Originally from New York City, Jenny completed her Master’s in Social Work at NYU in 2012. Since then, she has been living in Los Angeles, CA working with Children’s Advocacy Centers. Jenny speaks fluent Spanish and has worked as a Child Advocate, Forensic Interviewer, and currently serves as the Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator for Strength United’s Children’s Advocacy Center in Van Nuys, CA. She has conducted trainings for Law Enforcement and Mental Health Clinicians on topics that include interviewing children and child sexual abuse. Jenny holds her LCSW and is certified as a trauma-informed yoga teacher. She joined CACC’s Advisory Committee in 2018 and is especially interested in supporting and developing the field of clinical advocacy. In her free time, Jenny teaches yoga and bakes cupcakes.
