Susy Flores

Pronouns: She, Her, Hers

Susy Flores is the Director of Inner Circle Children’s Advocacy Center since February 2021.  She has worked within the field of child abuse for the past 14 years. She holds a dual role as a bilingual Forensic Interview Specialist.  Susy practiced as a mental health clinician for 11 years where she specialized in working with children and adolescents who are victims of abuse.  She has also served as a trainer and facilitator for the Center for Innovation and Resources.

 

Susy is committed to advocating for child victims of abuse.  In 2018, Assemblymember Blanca Rubio presented Susy with Woman of the Year – Advocacy Award.  She was awarded with the 2018 Woman of Achievement and Emerging Leader Award in the area of Public Safety by former Senator Ed Hernandez of the 22nd District. Susy was also honored with the Latina Advocate Award by Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE).

 

When not working, Susy enjoys playing tennis, paddle boarding, reading, and hiking.
