We’re Funded for 2026 — Let’s Go!

At the end of 2025, CACC faced real uncertainty. We entered the new year without confirmation of our primary federal grant — the funding source that supports more than 96% of our work — and we made the difficult decision to scale back services while we waited for answers.
Today, we have great news:
CACC is officially funded for 2026! 🎉
This means we can restore services, move forward with confidence, and continue strengthening California’s response to child abuse.
Last year, 100% of members who completed our survey rated CACC’s services as Excellent or Good. We’re proud of that — and we’re just getting started.
What’s Ahead in 2026
Here’s a snapshot of what you can expect this year:
Stronger advocacy to secure and expand state funding for Children’s Advocacy Centers
Access to Coalition Manager for streamlined membership tools and benefits
Free licenses to the state-of-the-art Collaborate database
Continued data working groups to unify and strengthen statewide data collection
An in-person CACC Annual Meeting and Capitol Visit Day
Peer reviews for forensic interviewers and family advocates
Monthly Office Hours for NCA accreditation and family advocacy support
Expanded specialized training and technical assistance tailored to local needs
Ongoing advocacy in Sacramento and Washington, D.C.
We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting the professionals who show up every day for California’s children and families. Your work matters — and we are honored to stand alongside you.
More dates and details are coming soon. For now, we’re celebrating — and getting back to work.
