Holly Fleming, Program Coordinator

Pronouns: She, Her, Hers

Holly Fleming began her career in a community clinic as a MFT trainee where she provided
counseling to adults, children, and families. In 2014, Holly joined CALICO, Alameda County’s
Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC), as a child interview specialist. There she has conducted over 500
forensic interviews of children and adults with developmental disabilities who have experienced
sexual abuse, physical abuse, gross neglect, or who witnessed community-based violence. In 2017,
Holly began working for the Children’s Advocacy Centers of California, a program of CALICO, where
she provides support and assistance to CACs throughout the state. In 2018, Holly was a fellow with
the Women’s Policy Institute. On the Trauma Justice team, Holly worked on AB2413, the Right to a
Safe Home Act, which extends protections from nuisance ordinance-related evictions to include
victims of crime and individuals in an emergency and eases the documentation burden placed on
survivors. In her free time, Holly enjoys Zumba, reading novels, and pub trivia.
